Please email me for current prices, payable in U.S. funds. For Manitoba customers, there is an additional 7 per cent sales tax (no GST). Shipping and insurance costs are also extra and usually run about $200 per instrument. All instruments are shipped overnight courier, FOB Winnipeg.
Prices will be finalized when an order is confirmed and at that time I will require a 15 percent non-refundable deposit. The balance of the payment must be received before an order is shipped. Should the customer not be satisfied, the entire amount, less the deposit, will be refunded if the return is initiated within three business days of receipt of the instrument, with shipping costs borne by the customer.
All instruments include a hard shell case. Options such as custom inlay and gold tuners are priced separately.
Method of payment: certified cheque, money order or bank draft.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Since you are not accepting orders, how do I get on the waiting list?
A. When I get an expression of interest in a particular model, I add your name to a waiting list. This does not commit you to an order, but it puts you in the queue.
2. When does my order get confirmed?
A. When the instrument is nearing the finishing stages, I contact people on the waiting list. At this time, the final price is set and interested parties are asked to confirm their orders with a 15 percent deposit. Those not interested are either removed from the list or put back in the queue if they wish to defer their purchase.
3. How much customization is available?
A. Depending on what I am building and how early I am in the building process, there is some flexibility in inlay design, colour, choice of hardware and fingerboard radius. You should indicate whether you are interested in any variations early in your enquiry which would allow me to take that into consideration when I plan what instruments I will be building in my next cycle. If I can do it, I will; if I can't, I won't. To reflect my own individual style and preferences, there is no variation on the headstock design. All binding is wood.
4. What if I am not pleased with my order?
A. My policy has always been that if the customer is not satisfied for any reason I will accept the returned instrument and refund the purchase price (less the 15 percent deposit), under these restrictions: it must be in original condition; the customer pays return shipping costs; and the return must be initiated within three business days of receipt.
